Who are we?

NautiSail was founded on the need to offer a complete package for the novice and experienced sailor.

My name is Ben Roos.
I started my career as an air traffic controller with the Royal Air Force. At that time I got in contact with the entertainment industry.
I started a major booking agency for bands and artists and this office was later to achieve an organizer for large corporate events.
My office organises various projects for several large companies.

As a little kid I started sailing at the age of 11.
At the Royal Navy in Den Helder I learned to sail in a 12 feet dinghy. If "jib buddy" I did a lot of experience and at the age of 23 I bought my first cabin sailboat.
The boats became larger and the sail area as well.
Triangle Northsea, IJmuiden-Lagos Rally and many trips to England, Channel Islands, Spain and Portugal followed. Since 2003, I am just busy with sailing and in that time, I include a sail from the Netherlands to Brazil and a "Circle Atlantic" to the Caribbean. I also have several yacht-deliveries done.

Meetings with other sailors inspired me to set up NautiSail. .

With NautiSail I want other sailors to introduce to offshore sailing through good training, I want sailors to support in realizing their "Sailing Dreams", I want by providing delivery crews to support owners of yachts to give the opportunity to spent their sailing holyday somewhere else and I offer sailing holidays to make a nice ride on another vessel. Also, there is a possibility for sailors to rent a yacht for independent skippering.
